Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Salamanca. PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia. Specialised in Stomatology from the University of the Basque Country. Honorary Degree at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

  • He combines scientific research as the founder and Scientific Director of BTI Biotechnology Institute with work at a private clinic, as well as directing the University Institute for Regenerative Medicine and Oral Implantology at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and presiding over the foundation which bears his name.
  • He is guest lecturer at over 50 universities and has taught over 500 courses and lectures on oral implantology and regenerative medicine at national and international conferences.
  • He holds 53 international patents and is the author of over 200 scientific articles published in indexed journals, several hundreds more in clinical journals, as well as over 20 books and surgical manuals covering different areas of medicine.
  • Dr. Eduardo Anitua is considered to be one of the world leaders in the field of regenerative medicine as he is the pioneer of one of the most relevant translational therapies of the last decades, known as plasma rich in growth factors Endoret® (PRGF®) technology.
